Survey Project
Engineering Technician
Brief survey crews and other
support personnel on project requirements; act as technical leader for advance
survey operations; GPS and 3D modeling and photogrammetric projects;
perform least-square survey control adjustment with statistical analysis;
prepare cut-sheets, as-builts and other survey reports for internal and external
use; assume responsibility for quality and execution of all phases of the survey
project; assist with updating of company field manuals;oversee and track
progress and status of all assigned projects;attend on-site meetings with
clients and other staff as needed; review all field and office work of staff for
accuracy and completeness; Perform field surveys and survey calculations and
reports as necessary; recommend equipment and supply purchases to survey group
manager; oversee and maintain project documentation, history, changes, project
contacts and technical files;train and assist company staff to follow field and
office standard.
Minimum
Requirements:
Required Degree: Bachelors Degree in Surveying Engineering
Required Experience: 3 years in the job offered
Please note that employer will accept applicants with a Masters degree in
Surveying Engineering (or foreign degree equivalent) plus 1 year experience
as an acceptable alternative to the listed required experience.
Other Requirements: AutoCAD, AutoCAD-Map, AutoCAD LDD, CADRaster, MicroStation
Advanced survey calculations and adjustments, understanding of GPS, GIS and
Photogrammetric processing and theory.
